Jana Wisniewski acts since she studied at the university for applied art in Vienna, as artist, art journalist and curator. As journalist, three years in the city newspaper "Falter", ten years in the daily paper AZ, then in "Salzburger Nachrichten" and in free collaboration at various culture magazines. As a curator of exhibitions in the design field she organized "Wohnlust" in Vienna, "Opium" in Salzburg, in the field of Photography and New Media, "Acht Wienräume" in Erlangen, "Schnelle Bilder" in Vienna, "Austrian News in Photography" in Stockholm, "Body as Signs" in Paris, and "Raum!" in Vienna. Some panel discussions on the subjects "Art worth", "Architecture and/or Art", "Position of Photography in Art", "Photograph art market", and "Writing about Art" followed. Advisory board activity for video, photography, art at the building, art in the public belongs to her life. Three years action as president of "Intact", international female Artists, and three years as President of "Federal Conference of Austrian Artists", let her have a look at Artists rights. A Photoweekend at various places in Vienna, and a colloquuium about Art in open Space in Krems, are the last actions in real life, later she became interested in internet. She was founder from Artists groups: "Formwien", Stilbruch AG" and "Kunst & Raum".
